Listening back to BBC Trust chairman Lord Patten interviewed by Stephen Sackur last week, a question about the future funding of BBC World Service struck me, and may be of interest to the Foreign Affairs Select Committe, who raised the matter in April.
Not exactly joyous news for World Service staff. The interview is, of course, a tv interview under the HARDtalk banner, rebroadcast on World Service (radio) in English.
