Meeting Waterloo

Oh dear. Lord Patten visits the production team for serial-morphing-to-soap Waterloo Road, now based in Greenock, Scotland. The last two episodes have recorded figures below 3m.  Previous series have averaged around 5m. Not only has the show moved north of the border to fill quotas, the number of episodes per year now stands at 30 - so there's another five to go sitting in the heart of BBC primetime. Might be an interesting question for the BBC1 Controller interviews....
