I learned this weekend that I am one of very few people worked up about the selection of the next BBC Director General. Undaunted, I feel in my obsessed waters that this coming week will see preliminary interviews, with our Judges, Lord Patten, Diane Coyle and Dom Loehnis, deciding on the three or four they want to take forward to the "live finals".
It's unlikely that the candidates will want to be seen entering the BBC Trust's offices in Great Portland Street - or spotted in the grander portico of One Mayfair Place, where Egon Zehnder have their London offices.
So the best bet is probably a conference room or suite in a hotel somewhere between the two...
Sadly, Google has made it clear there are rather too many options for me to narrow it down further. Dear readers, please keep your eyes skinned on my anxious behalf.
