Method acting

The news that Chris Moyles is to play Herod in a stadium tour of Jesus Christ Superstar is interesting. Chris is in no doubt that he can sing (though others may disagree) and King Herod gets one song, in the second half. A twenties pastiche, it was sung by Mike D'Abo on the original album.  In the first film version, Herod was played by Josh (son of Zero) Mostel in a bare-breasted Ron Jeremy sort of style, with Austin Powers choreography; in the second, Rik Mayall opted for white dinner jacket and moved little. What will Moyles bring to this pivotal role ?
