A little FOI, from What Do They Know. The BBC spend £1,500 hiring the fifth floor of the Royal Festival Hall, for a London briefing session for drama producers from inside and outside the BBC on March 29th.
Rationale "The briefings frequently require space for both a large number of people in one room, plus smaller adjacent spaces to discuss confidential ideas on a one-to-one basis with commissioners. This combination of space is not often available internally for the numbers who want to attend."
I thought the NAO said the BBC was currently running much more space than it needed...
