The Daily Mirror reports that crime at BBC premises is down year-on-year, and says "only a handful of workers at MediacityUK have fallen victim to crime in the past year".
A Mirror Freedom of Information enquiry reveals that across the corporation,"thefts are down from 278 to 273, assaults halved from four to two and even bomb hoaxes went from six to three instances."
A BBC information adviser said: “The BBC takes theft and staff safety very seriously and has implemented measures to reduce crime."
