Lost property

It looks like the BBC's Head of Corporate Real Estate is seeking pastures new.  Chris Kane joined the organisation in 2004, and has seen developments at Broadcasting House, Salford Quays, Glasgow and Roath Lock completed on his watch, as well as a new home for BBC Archives.  However the last couple of years have been about selling rather than buying - with for sale signs going up at TVC and W12, and general twitchiness about the costs of the Mailbox in Birmingham.

One suspects another driver might be the arrival of Lucy Adams as his boss. She was relegated from the Executive Board by Thommo last year, along with Peter Salmon - but seems to have kept her salary intact with a new title - Head of Business Operations.   Together, Chris and Lucy cost the BBC £633k in 2010.   August 2011 salaries for top BBC executives have yet to be published on "About The BBC".
