Diary date

After a good session last month in Westminster Hall on "Delivering Quality First", the Back Bench Business Committee has decided there's still enough steam in the issue for a full Commons debate on the impact of the BBC's proposed cuts - taking place on Thursday.

The debate is being shepherded by Austin Mitchell (Lab, Great Grimsby), John McDonnell (Lab, Hayes and Harlington) and Martin Vickers (Conservative, Cleethorpes).  You can expect MPs from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to join in this time.

Today might be a good day for viewers and listeners to remind their members of their concerns about DQF - with the Autumn Statement, at least you know where they'll be...
