The NUJ is having a bit of fun with people's diaries. People like freelance Gavin Grey, who put in at least eight hours in front of the BBC News camera during the strike last Friday. They've just moved the next planned one-day strike from Friday, 29 July, to the following Monday, 1 August.
In the first round of this particular dispute, editors, Sarah Montague and Justin Webb (in Tokyo) managed to produce two hours of a Today programme, from 0700 to 0900. Entertainingly, the current online schedule for Radio 4 has no presenters listed for 29 July. Yet for Monday 1 August, it lists Sarah Montague - and John Humphrys.
