BBC World News America, which has just lost lead presenter Matt Frei to Channel 4, has now also parted company with executive producer Rome Hartman. Rome, an American, will develop a new primetime news show for NBC to be presented by Brian Williams later in the year.
Moving World News America off the BBC America channel, and cutting it to half an hour can't have been what Rome expected from Auntie, but he put a brave face on it in March. Now there's just Katty Kay
left of the trio that launched the original "big idea".
