Many congratulations to my former BBC colleague Jeremy Hillman, joining the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as Director of External Communications. I'm sure he'll be tickled to be described as "veteran" in their press release - it seems like only yesterday he bounced into the BBC from LBC to join the launch team for 5Live, and, by my calculations, he has the wisdom of a man in his early 40s.
I suspect the job, based in Seattle, might be less stressful than his current role herding cats in the BBC's Business & Economics Unit - and riding shotgun on Robert Peston and his tweets.
