Sporting tweeps

Sports journalists are sometimes as competitive as the games they follow.  The BBC's Sports Editor, David Bond, joined the BBC at the start of 2010 from The Telegraph. He's been blogging in the role since March that year, and has produced 143 posts.  On Twitter, he's composed 69 Tweets, picked up by 5,825 followers.

Dan Roan joined the BBC as a Sports News Correspondent in March 2010. He also blogs - just 27 posts so far. But this morning his Tweet total stands at a staggering 1,555, with 32,942 followers.

  • Both David and Dan have some way to go if they're to challenge Jake HumphreyF1, with 4,333 tweets to 215,859 followers.
