The tram service to MediaCityUK worked yesterday, in the form of a shuttle service from Picadilly. This work-round has been in operation since last Friday. So the press pack travelling with Mark Thompson and Peter Salmon got the full integrated transport experience, and not the tedious little walk from Harbour City.
Funnily, the tram service today is not calling at MediaCity. A bald GMPTE statement says it's out of operation until further notice, because of signal failure.
