Shuttled

The tram training provided to BBC staff moving to MediaCityUK may not have been wasted.  Informed bloggers are reporting that there are now some direct shuttle services from Piccadilly, with "MediaCityUK" emblazoned on the front of the vehicles. Whether this represents a work round for the problematic spur off the Eccles-Piccadilly line, or a resolution of issues with the computer-controlled points, is not clear. It's good news for the first movers into the BBC buildings - most of whom are coming from Oxford Road.
