The explanation for the lack of direct peak time service ? "This is to allow further modifications to the signalling system which manages trams in and out of MediaCityUK". Who am I to challenge the strategic thinking at GMPTE ? Every other public transport system I know tries to do modifications outside peak hours. A dolt like me would leap to the conclusion that this line can't cope with some risk at MediaCityUK in rush hour. If anyone sees or hears about anyone actually modifying anything 0700-1000 or 1600-2000, please let me know.

Still no rush
There's a marginal improvement to the tram service direct to MediaCityUK from today. Services between Eccles and Picadilly WILL call from start of service (around 6am) to 7.30am; then there's a break til 10.00am; you can get off at MediaCityUK between 10.00am and 4.00pm; another break for rush hour, then, from 8pm till last train (around 10.30pm) it'll call in. This from Monday to Saturday.
