The excellent website, The Drum,
reports this morning that the Telegraph Media Group is moving its Manchester operations to MediaCityUK, and quotes manager Gary Frielick thus "MediaCityUK has been designed around the specific needs of the media and creative industries and we are delighted, as one of the premium content creators of newspapers, magazines and digital platforms, to be a part of this".

I was puzzled by this; the Telegraph's line on the BBC's move to MediaCityUK has generally been less than positive, with hints of despair at the amount of licence fees being taken up in the venture.

investigation reveals that the Telegraph's ad sales team in Manchester (estimated total 12) are moving from offices

Digital World Centre" - which, though near, is not technically part of MediaCityUK.
