The Register reports that the people who listened to BBC6Music and 1Xtra via streaming from their websites on Tuesday may have been exposed to "malware" which could have been silently and automatically downloaded on their computers. The report says only 9 of the 43 most popular anti-virus products would have blocked the so-called "drive-by download". Normally, malware comes from visits to fake sites set up for the purpose.
It'll be interesting today to see whether or not there's a major issue here.
