The BBC has spent £14.8m making 115 senior manager grade staff redundant over the past three years - the highest individual settlement was £600,000. Averaged out, the payments stand at £130k per post closed.
The response to the Freedom of Information request, published by the BBC today,was signed in September by Director of Reward, Robert Johnston - who himself departed the organisation somewhat swiftly in October. There's no news on his deal - his total remuneration was £196,750.
