As we spotted here earlier, the BBC has revealed that it has exceeded one of its diversity targets ahead of time. The challenge of reaching a workforce with 12.5% black and minority ethnic staff was achieved in September this year. But the corporation is still some way short of its target within senior management - the September 2010 figure is 5.9%, against an ambition of 7%.
Within the divisions, the picture is mixed; Children's, Multiplatform Production, BBC People, Worldwide, FM&T and, unsurprisingly, Global News (42.7%) all exceed the basic target. Sport, Vision and News (excluding English Regions) have failed to make the target yet.
Now the task is, apparently, workshops and public focus groups to help set new targets...
