Another twitch of the ITV rumour

Broadcast magazine says Granada Reports has scoped out a space at MediaCityUK in Salford, and that Coronation Street is believed to have agreed "a site near the hub" (presumably of MediaCityUK). 

Last we heard ITV was considering a range of options (hastily corrected from two options) and is more or less bound to have "scoped out" a MediaCityUK solution as part of the process - the haggling is presumably over the price.  Coronation Street moving depends on a sensible solution for an outdoor set, which is likely to be over the other side of the canal, and require planning permission from a different authority.
