Weather duty manager is an odd sounding role. It's the future at the BBC for Rob McElwee, Philip Avery and Tomasz Schafernaker, who have, in some way, failed a new audition for on-screen presenting. Apparently two more are to follow them to behind-the-scenes desk roles. In the interests of transparency, we need to know who conducted the auditions.
Anyone noticed that Helen Willetts is increasingly channelling Mrs Overall ?
