November seems to be picking up for Huw Edwards. He's hosting the Jane's Police Review Gala Dinner 4th November, at the Hilton on Park Lane; then on the 9th it's UBM Live's National Business Awards at the Grosvenor House in London; on the 19th, there's a quick trip to Jersey, for the local branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, at the Hotel De France (tickets still available at £80 a pop).
October wasn't so hot. He had to cancel an engagement in Malta on the 19th and 20th, to be on parade for the Spending Review. Bill Turnbull filled the hole. Still, Huw did have the Guardian & Observer Travel Awards at Cardiff Castle on the 8th.
