Fit for purpose

Sports news: Peter Horrocks, Head of Global News at the BBC, completed the "Challenge" version of the London Duathlon in Richmond Park at the weekend, in a creditable time of 2 hours, 6 minutes and 47 seconds - that's for a run-bike-run distance of 35kms.  Placed 673rd out of 1529.   Or, perhaps better, 21st out of 53 in the 50-54 age category.  In good condition to keep chasing young Hague (49) for a good World Service deal out of the FCO.
