The ever-inventive Salford Star has been putting the new MediaCityUK postcodes to the test. And there's a cash benefit in having a new address there - car insurance is going to be around half the price of that charged to postcodes in neighbouring Ordsall, according to a spot check on Go Compare.
This may not be surprising to residents of some parts of Ordsall. If I only had time to try some White City postcodes, I suspect prices there might be even higher.
