Wembley Stadium has finally dumped its pitch suppliers in favour of a "trial run" with Desso Systems. Desso has pioneered using artificial fibres to re-inforce real grass. Their pitches are in use at Arsenal, Tottenham, Feyenoord, Anderlecht, Denver Broncos, and the Mbombela stadium in Nelspruit and Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane, in the World Cup in South Africa.
