Who's seen the future ?

Rumblings are reaching Broadcast of a major shake-up in the BBC's Future Media & Technology department. It's a sprawling department, with outposts embedded in other divisions, so that it's never been as centralised as its title suggests - and there's a fundamental lack of trust between the tentacles and the central operation. But to make savings in senior manager posts (target 20%) there's probably another bid going on by Erik Huggers to centralise, with the potential for high profile casualties. Or it may have already happened...
