Anthony Rose, one of the most successful and probably most expensive signings by BBC technology boss Erik Huggers, is moving on to become Chief Technology Officer of Project Canvas. He's currently Future Media Controller, Vision and Online Media Group (one of those very long titles Mark Thompson promised to get rid of anyway).
Anthony joined the Beeb in 2007 from P2P file-sharing wizards Kazaa/Alnet, and had previously worked with Sega Australia. He's widely credited as the man who turned the BBC iPlayer proposition from a basket case into a runaway triumph.
