It's just over a year since Kachingle, a way of "tipping" with cash sites you like, went into operation - and it's now make its first payments to the bloggers from the pool donated by readers who have signed up. It's not big money at this stage, as Steve Outing explains (NB he as a small interest in the company). 10% of tips goes to Kachingle, 10% goes to Paypal - and the blogger gets the rest.
In the UK, I notice that the Strange Attractor site, run by new media pioneer Kevin Anderson (recently departed from The Guardian) and his wife Sue Charman-Anderson, has signed up for Kachingle, which is a reasonable endorsement.
