Say what you mean..
Bob Geldof's tirade against the BBC, Peter Horrocks, Andrew Whitehead and Martin Plaut, in today's Guardian, was, believe it or not, edited before it was published. The row, over Martin Plaut's Assignment piece on what happened to some of the Band Aid money, has certainly been stepped up by Sir Bob, but it would interesting to know what Deputy Comment Editor Libby Brooks kept back. Comment is, apparently free, but not always unfettered...
