Obscure

Former Chelsea and Everton winger, now summariser for 5Live and others, Pat Nevin takes to the wheels of steel tonight for an indie dance evening in London. He's guest DJ for the "Scared to Dance" night in the Joan Collins Lounge at the King's Cross Social Club, 2 Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JE (Free entry 9pm to 2am 020 7278 4252). In his own words, an evening of "obscure indie music in a scruffy and friendly little club".

Pat used to do the occasional evening session on Radio City when he was with Everton. Now he lists Joy Division, The Fall, Cocteau Twins, Belle and Sebastian, Camera Obscura and The Go-Betweens as some of his favourite bands.
