Singer/songwriter
Lesley Duncan has died aged 66 - making me root out another treasured album in my vinyl collection. She sang backing for the Dave Clark 5, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Kate Bush, Ringo Starr, Dusty Springfield - and Dusty Springfield and Elton John, amongst others, appear on her records. There's an excellent interview with her from 1987 on
Lesley Duncan.net.
Such a sad bit of news. I've been playing my battered copy of 'Sing Children Sing' in memory of the times I spent trying to work out the chords to these songs. A great album for learning the guitar!
