Sky News has "learned" that the Ashes are going to be added to the list of sporting "crown jewels" which should be available free and live on tv in the UK. It says it probably won't happen till the current Sky deal with the English Cricket Board runs out in 2016.
The new "crown jewel" list is being drawn up by David Davies, who despite that taxing workload, still finds time to present regular newspaper reviews for Sky News. "Learned" ? Or "leaned on" ?
