Earlier this week the tabloids indicated that Jonathan Ross was facing a cut of £1.5m a year in his income from the BBC. I wouldn't mind betting that the deal with BBC Worldwide to put his Friday night BBC1 show out on their various international channels more than compensates the great man - without him lifting a finger.
