The New York Times reports that "waterboarding" was used 266 times on 2 Al-Qaeda suspects by the CIA . Come on, that is torture.
With its usual thorough reporting, the NYT also reminds us that former C.I.A. officer, John Kiriakou, told news organizations in 2007 that one of the prisoners, Abu Zubaydah, had undergone waterboarding for only 35 seconds before agreeing to tell everything he knew. So why was he doused a further 82 times ?
