Sporting Conversion

I decided, long before blogging, that professional team sports provide rich seams of exemplars (good and bad) for change management in "real" business. So I'll make no bones about the occasional reference here.


In the FT at the weekend, Mark Damazer, Controller of Radio4, described his conversion from Spurs fan to follower of the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox lost out last night to the Tampa Bay Rays in the battle to represent the American League in the World Series. Tampa Bay's success is a bit like Hull City winning the Premiership in their first season. It may be time for another Damazer conversion....
