Zoe Williams in The Guardian "Seriously, you radioers. The webcam has been around a long time, now. You either need to come up with a point to it, stop doing it, or tidy up your studios". I think she's right - in many radio studios, the webcam is probably working at silent movie/cctv standards, and producers and presenters have largely forgotten its existence. Notable exceptions which seem to have come up with "a point" - the Simon Mayo show on Radio 5Live, with video podcasts of the film reviews with Mark Kermode; and The Bottom Line with Evan Davis on Radio 4 and the BBC News channel.
