Perhaps as a sort of present for surviving the chop, the BBC News Channel has some updated little countdown films filling the gap up to the top of the hour. Afficianados of this genre will be delighted to see that one surviving vignette has rugged reporter Ben Brown wearing a flak jacket whilst his clearly-expendable cameraman "films" on in just a short-sleeved shirt.
