Re-calc

In a previous post, I referred to press estimates of Chris Moyles' salary as around £630k pa.  I have since picked up a discarded copy of today's Times, which says that a cheque of £40k has been deposited by the BBC in Mr Moyles' account, representing a month's pay.  To save you time, that would be equivalent to an annual salary of £480k.  Or, a cut of 13%.  No reason to tell Murdoch newspapers fibs, is there ?
