Priya

Channel 4's new Chief Executive is Priya Dogra, 46,  born in Delhi to parents who had tried life in Canada; they persuaded her to go for a degree in commerce and computer science at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. She dropped the computer bit, and joined CitiBank for seven years, working in Toronto, New York and London.  She handled media clients, including Time Warner, and, in 2009,  joined Time Warner’s mergers and acquisitions group. Six years later she was leading the department.  Just under two years ago, she moved to Sky, as Chief Advertising and New Revenue Officer.  

She's a fan of  The Wire, The Marvellous Mrs Maisel and has claimed an addiction to Channel 4’s Come Dine with Me. “I watch an inordinate amount. It’s a show I can put on any time and enjoy.”
