BBC Studios executive management has taken a big pivot back to the UK, with the departure of New York-based CEO, BBC Global Media & Streaming, Rebecca Glashow. Rebecca has been with Studios for five years, and her job won't be replaced. Bits go to a big winner Zai Bennett, who gets to run a 'global' content studio, with head of Global Sales Janet Brown now reporting to Bennett; old hand Marcus Arthur will now run channels and catch-up services everywhere apart from North America.
New York survivor Robert Schildhouse gets to keep Britbox International, but reports directly to Studios CEO in London, Tom Fussell; Studios seem to have dispensed with a separate management team in Australia. New York-based Tara Maitra stays as President, Global News and Streaming - too late to turn back now.
