BBC News has gone Scandiwegian again, hiring Olle Zachrison as its first Senior Editor AI, to "lead the adoption and integration of Gen AI and AI technologies into BBC News".
Olle, 49, is currently Head of Artificial Intelligence at Swedish Radio. He went to Sodra Latins upper school in Stockholm, but spent a sixth-form year at Gorseinon College, Swansea, before taking a degree in journalism at Stockholm University. He likes Primal Scream, Radio 5Live, Minecraft, conferences and football.
