Writing to pictures

For a long time I've suffered without sharing. There are now two BBC correspondents who write the first part of their commentaries to pictures, then TAKE THE VERB OUT. It's probably copyrighted by Orla Guerin.  Last night, special correspondent Lucy Manning joined in, on the 6pm bulletin. Over a drone shot of a car in a playground, she intoned. 

"The driver of the LandRover now under arrest". It's a more portentous introduction than "The driver of this LandRover is now under arrest", but less comprehensible, by a mile. Listen out along with me and twitch...
