Actor Adrian Lester was the BBC Events' team choice to narrate the Albert Hall Remembrance ceremonies. Last year Clare Balding was called in to replace Huw Edwards, who had been suspended in July. Now we know that Huw was formally arrested on 8th November (three days before the 2023 event), a move the Metropolitan Police only shared with a few senior BBC executives.
Meanwhile, at 86, David Dimbleby still turns out for the Cenotaph this morning...
