It's 58 days since the BBC's top man in Scotland, Steve Carson, announced that he would be leaving for a new job at RTE in September, but there's still no sign of a job advert for his replacement.
This picture, taken by Mr Carson of his office area at the generously-proportioned BBC headquarters at Pacific Quay in Glasgow, might be added to the recruitment pack. He has use of Lord Reith's old desk (foreground), though it might not necessarily be the old DG's sandwich and banana on the the corner.
