Zai Bennett has found his way back to the BBC, ten years after skipping to Sky in the face of an impending-but-never-delivered plan to move BBC3 to Salford.
He's to be the new CEO and Chief Creative Officer of BBC Studios Production, replacing Ralph Lee who left in April.
Zai's now 50 - and I'm no clearer about his education than I was back in 2010, when he was first appointed Controller BBC3.
- Friday 11.45am update: Thanks to a regular reader, we can reveal Zai went to Goffs School, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, and then University of London (history and politics BA, modern history MA)
