Kamal Ahmed can now probably remove 'entrepreneur' from his business card, as he leaves The News Movement and returns to The Telegraph, where he was business editor from 2009 to 2014. He's going back as "director of audio", which might raise eyebrows back at Broadcasting House, which Kamal left as Editorial Director in 2021.
He'll get a weekly column, and responsibility for overall audio strategy; he'll also co-host a Monday-to-Thursday podcast, The Daily T with Camilla Tominey, starting in May. The release makes it pretty clear that Camilla is the editor of The Daily T and responsible for its editorial and audience strategy.
