Nigel Farage was given an Honorary Doctorate by Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, back in 2020. That year's convocation also featured newly-weds George Farmer and Candace Owens. George is now a new investor in GB News.
Liberty was founded in 1971 by Jerry Falwell. Its rules include “Sexual relations outside of a Biblically- ordained marriage between a natural-born man and natural-born woman are not permissible at Liberty University.”
