A short series about how our national newspaper websites are trying to make a little extra from my eyeballs.
The Mail Online's sideline is advertorials, noticeable to this reader because they stay 'up' much longer than 'real' news stories. For me, most of them appear on the main website under the column marked 'Don't Miss', on the mobile platform they're scattered within 'Showbiz'.
