Selectors

There's room for reflection for potential candidates to be the next Chair of the BBC - applications don't close til September 18th, leaving plenty of time to get back from the terraces of Positano, Bormes Les Mimosas, and Dubrovnik.

Your interview panel, should you be shortlisted, will have Sir Ron Kalifa OBE as the senior independent member.  Ron - more fully,  Rohinton Minoo Kalifa -  is one of the UK's leading Zoroastrians and made his money from WorldPay. Alongside will be former Beeboid Bill Bush, who joined Auntie from the service of Ken Livingstone at County Hall, and left to help Tony Blair at No 10. And the third member will be Hedley Finn OBE, perhaps best known as President of Radio Lollipop International which provides psychosocial support for children in 36 hospitals across five countries.

Providing gender diversity, the process will be led by DCMS Permanent Secretary, Susannah Storey.
