Exclusive

An eerie series of coincidences at Tradingaswdr Towers this weekend. First reading the latest episode of Byline Times' claims about the activities of Dan Wootton between 2009 and 2016.

Then my decision to re-watch 1997's LA Confidential, soon to depart Amazon Prime. It's an adaptation of James Ellroy's 1990 crime novel of the same name, in turn inspired by the Hollywood of the 1950s. A pivotal character in this tale of crime, drugs, mobs, police corruption, prostitution, politicians, and film stars is Sid Hudgens of Hush Hush magazine, played by Danny DeVito.

Ellroy's fictional Hush Hush had the slogan, “Off the record, on the QT and very hush-hush”; the real Confidential mag was "Uncensored and off the record".

The Sun helpfully has a compilation of Dan's work on its website.
